Merav Levkowitz's career began around the age of ten, when she asked her parents why their favorite local bookstore didn't feature reviews of children's books in its—revolutionary at the time—email newsletter. With some encouragement from Mom and Dad, she wrote to the staff and offered to be their resident pint-sized reviewer—and she got the gig! Every couple of weeks, with the help of her skilled typists and emailers (ahem, parents), she would put together a review of a recently devoured book and send it off. A writing career was born.
Merav grew up in a multicultural home and holds a bachelor's degree from Georgetown University in international relations and an MBA from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, but her greatest interest has always been how people communicate with each other. In 2014, after working as a Program Associate in the marketing department of a nonprofit and as a Program Manager at a translation company, she founded MeravWrites to bring her writing and editing knowledge and skills to help clients in all sectors translate their products and visions into words that everyone can understand. She works with startups, high-tech companies, nonprofits, universities, small businesses, and more.
In addition to her love of languages (she speaks fluent English, Spanish, Hebrew, French, and Portuguese and moderate Arabic) and traveling, Merav has a special passion for all things food.
Merav's promise: Your words. Only better.
